Our general practitioner Dr. Sara Martin has extensive experience and know-how on allergic disease and extends her services in assessment and management at our allergic clinic.
Her services includes of:
- Hayfever
- Asthma
- Eczema
- Food allergy
- Anaphylaxis
- Hives (urticaria) and /or swelling (angioedema)
Initial assessment can be provided for allergy testing for hayfever, asthma, eczema and food allergy. However, Dr. Martin is currently not performing patch testing for assessing allergic. Contact dermatitis: referral to a Dermatologist should be considered if this condition is suspected.

Consultations
Initial Consultation
45 minutes $320 – $400 (Medicare rebate $118). Due to the high demand and limited availability of appointments, pre-payment is required to guarantee the booking.
Antihistamines must be stopped 3 days prior to initial appointment if skin prick testing needed.
Review appointments
(Dr Martin will advise of review appointment requirements during the initial consult)
SHORT review – $130 (Medicare rebate of $41.40)
STANDARD review – $230 (Medicare rebate of $80.10)
LONG review – $300 (Medicare rebate $118)
Testing
Skin prick testing may be performed on the day if clinically indicated and time allows – antihistamines must be stopped at least 3 days prior for testing to occur. Cost is $95-130
Spirometry – usually requires an additional appointment and may be performed at an additional cost.

If more time is required with the Doctor standard allergy consultation fees apply as listed
Repeat orders are available via online for $23.00 however review appointment may be required.
